Something I have learned recently is that it is inevitable for men to get stuck playing the games of women.  Women play games whether they know it or not.  It's funny to have such an epiphony for me.  I'm starting to understand the nuances of life that I didn't before.

The Argument...

Last night Tawnee and I got into it when we left the bar. She has been pushing me away for about a week and I don't know why. She hasn't been taking care of what she needs to, staying up until late in the morning, and not answering her phone. Afterwards when I got home, I had the strangest, most horrific dream. I only remember obscure bits and pieces. I don't want to have another dream like that. I also really want to get the other issue hashed out with her today.

Exercise Returns...

I just got back from a 40 minute stint on the treadmill. It was my first time on the treadmill in about 6 months and it hurt! I had a total of 3.5 miles on the treadmill of combined running and fast paced walking. I burned 350 calories in that time period. Next run the goal will be to bump it up to 400 calories in the same period of time.

Karaoke Night

Tonight was sort of a double date. We started out the night at Shakeys in Moreno Valley singing karaoke. We started there because Dustin's girlfriend didn't have a babysitter. Her little boy was very entertaining but it was weird singing karaoke there. Tawnee's friend Katie came out with us too. We migrated from Shakeys to Frank's Bar & Grill about a block from my apartment. At that point it was just Tawnee, Katie, and myself. We hung out and sang until closing time. Overall it was a really good time. For some reason my last post on here disappeared. I have no idea why but Maybe this one will stick. For those who know my FLICKR account, I'm uploading some pictures right now from this evening.

Valentine's Day

Ok, here was the original plan:
Make enchiladas and have a nice quiet dinner in.
The reality:
Tawnee was delayed 4 hours from our original plans so dinner was shelved. We went out for coffee, exchanged gifts at home and worked on a puzzle together. She seemed to genuinely enjoy her gifts which makes me happy.

Fucking ID Cards

I'm getting irritated..... Very irritated. I'm being annoyed continuously by one of our illustrious administrators about ID Cards. She set up a damn meeting last week without my consent to show people from her old school how we do things and that meant giving up my lunch for this shit. It's February and I'm off track. I don't want to deal with work shit other than yearbook issues itself. Other than that I don't want to have anything to do with work until I get back.

Honda iPod Integration

I have been tinkering with the new iPod integration in my Civic. So far I have been a little irritated with the TTS (text to speech) not matching up. For example I select Nirvana and CCR is what plays. What the heck?!?!? I'm wiping my iPod and reinstalling all the music to it. Hopefully that will resolve the problem.

Happy

I forgot what it truly felt like to be "happy". That feeling of happiness is back with a hard kick. By no means am I complaining. Things with Tawnee are going well, I'm trying my best to enjoy some time off of work, weather has been good, and my allergies are no longer bothering me.
