wPod Nano (Weapon)

iPod nano as a weapon. Who knew there were so many way to use an iPod to kill someone.

I'm Sweating and On Fire!

Ok, this probably was really stupid, but you know what, it was worth it. I ran in 102 degree weather. I went from my apartment, up Spruce, across Watkins, down Blane and back to Iowa..... I only was able to run about 1/3 of the time. Once I got back, my body is on fire. Sweat is pouring from my skin, and I'm sure I burned 500 to 1000 calories. I think this will be my running time for the summer.

The Stout Project

The Stout Project. Seriously, some of my friends are crazy!  Mandy & I are supposed to go out this weekend! I haven't been this excited about anything in I don't know how long.

Today

Well, I've finally caught up on sleep I think.  I slept from 11PM until 10:30AM today. After that, I did some tweaking on my Linux box to get things the way I wanted them.  Craig came out from Beaumont for his class tonight and we went to Rubios for dinner.  Total $$ in my bank account until tomorrow: 16 bucks.

I also met a very attractive and intelligent woman this weekend and I'm going to set up something for us to do this weekend if I'm lucky.

C Track Promotion

It went well.  What was weird was all of the C Track kids that wanted pictures of me with them.... Go figure.  It was a nice ceremony, but I'm glad that ours on A Track was shorter by a long shot.

Blogger Issues

Blogger has been retarded lately. Maybe I should consider changing over to something else...

Work Related Stuff

Ok, this is getting ridiculous.  As a staff, there are only a handful of people that do any shit at work outside of their classroom.  If they sign up to chaperone, there are no reprocussions for bailing out.  Let's see... I've officially been off since the end of May.  Where have I been spending all of my time? Work, or work related functions with the kids.  While I enjoy spending time with the kids, I'm sick of the bitching.

Some teachers complain that the same people go to all of the functions, but they never want to do them.  For example, they had the end of the year skating party today.  They didn't have enough chaperones so I volunteered to show up again.  There were more kids than there should have been (going by number of chaperones).  Disneyland was the same issue.  The 8th grade promotion dance was also the same issue.  For crying out loud staff, step up to the plate!

On a positive note, we have made enough money in Yearbook to cover the bill.  Everything else will be profit towards equipment & shirts for next year.

Yearbook

Is a major pain in the ass. I was at work until around 5, then I came home.
Total $$ I made: 0

Brewing

Well, 1st beer is bottled but I think it's going to have some flavors that are not desired due to a little screw up in the brewing process.  The second beer is in the fermenter and the wort smells good.  I think Paul is right about needing a 2nd fermentation process to eat up all of the sugar from the raspberries.

The mythtv box took a crap.  Dave & I are going to try to install debian & use it to run myth instead of the flaky knoppmyth install CD.  With any luck it'll go alright.

Tomorrow's agenda: Sorting yearbooks for distro.
