Ok, I'll admit I can get the computer purchase bug (those of you who really know me know how true this is). I'm sticking to my original plan of not buying a new laptop until at least 2007. While the Intel MacBook Pro seems pretty cool, I have issues. First it only has one Firewire 400 port. Second, it has a funny hole in the front to receive IR reception. Thirdly, my G4 is still covered by Apple Care and runs NATIVE all of my software. Until more software is Intel hardware based I have no need to run software on an intel based Macintosh. By then all the issues that will spring up in these Rev A boxes will be resolved, faster processors, hopefully lower price, Dual layer DVD burners, and the ability to control the computer by thought.... Hey, it could happen. Crap, it's past my bedtime.
